I'm so honored and blessed to be a part of DREAMCHASERS. I honestly don't know where I would be in life if I wasn't apart of this mentoring program. I reached out to T.Lee Montgomery in late 2012 for guidance. I was at a point in my life where I knew what I wanted to do but I didn't know how to go about achieving my aspirations. I shared my goals and dreams with T.Lee and she helped me come up with different strategies to reach my goals. In the summer of 2013, Dreamchasers got me a job at Tyler Perry Studios. I started off as a Production Assistant and worked my way up to a Production Coordinator.
In the summer of 2016, I decided to go after my dreams. Currently, I'm a full time Actress. I wouldn't have made it this far without the guidance and help of T.Lee and Dreamchasers. I've grown and learned so much within the three years of being apart of this program. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without the structure and discipline that Dreamchasers has taught me. The entertainment industry is not easy. I've been blessed to be able to keep up because of the tools and guidance of the Dreamchasers.
In 2013, DREAMCHASERS transformed my life. I had just graduated from college, searching for my big break. It was during this journey that I met Michelle Sneed. Michelle has placed so much positive energy into my atmosphere over the last 3 years as my mentor. I would not be in the position that I'm in if it was not for Michelle. Through her I've learned that although things may not be easy, they are always possible. Michelle is a special individual put on this planet to serve and teach!. She is a woman of God and it's very evident in her approach. Michelle truly saw the best in me and has trained me from Production Assistant to Production Manager. To have someone in your corner like Michelle is amazing. You can not put a price on that!
I am honored to know the phenomenal T.Lee, I’ve known her most of my life, but she took me under her wing in my last years in college. T.Lee set me up with working the People’s Choice Awards as a Production Assistant and also BET Centric with Erica Campbell and Derrick Haddon as an Production Assistant. T.Lee trained me with proper production etiquette, walkie talkie jargon, and production assistant training., etc felt prepared working my first job on set. I eventually began thinking about moving to LA because of such a phenomenal experience working on set and meeting some talented people. I finally got a glimpse of what my life could be living in Hollywood.
T.Lee connected me with so many amazing people while I was in LA, and I’m also grateful for Michelle, allowing me to work on the set of BET Centric. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing these two gracious, honorable, and giving women. Dreamchasers has changed my life and I’m beyond blessed to have experienced such a phenomenal opportunity.
My journey with DreamChasers began in 2009. After a few years of navigating the industry alone, I was introduced to Michelle Sneed. I was on the verge of giving up... but there's no such thing as giving up after you meet Michelle and T.Lee. Their sincere love of the industry, and their desire to see other's succeed is a rare jewel in entertainment. Michelle encouraged me to keep going and has since provided countless resources, networking opportunities, and solid Production training to advance my career.
Michelle Sneed is the hardest working woman that I know. She has taught me how to navigate the entertainment industry with grace, humility, and a strong work ethic. Since being mentored and trained by Michelle, I've had the pleasure of working on tv/film projects for ABC, FOX, VH1, BET, MTV, Paramount Pictures, OWN, Sony, TBS, Netflix, and many others. Without the guidance of Michelle, I wouldn't be the Production Professional that I am today. I'm beyond grateful for the mentorship that DreamChasers has provided to me.
